Bagpipes
or
"My woodwind is louder than your woodwind"

This page contains* information about the Great Highland Bagpipes**, as well as other Scottish*** and Irish**** bagpiping.  It also contains information about Scottish drumming*****.

*By contains, I mean "will contain", as I haven't really posted any articles yet.  For now, it's just some interesting links.
**Or, the GHB.  Think about that instrument that kilted folk play that's really loud.  Think Amazing Grace.  Yep, that's the one.
***Scotland has quite a few types of bagpipes.  Outside of the GHB, however, they're not very well known.
****Ireland's most famous bagpipe is the Uilleann pipe.  You've heard them on Braveheart (which is a movie about a Scot - go figure).  They're arguably more complicated than the GHB.
*****Or, side/snare drumming, tenor drumming, bass drumming.  I currently also play the side/snare drum.
